Microfinancing and Entrepreneurial Processes Among Females: A Role Congruity Theory Perspective

This research qualitatively investigates the activities that female entrepreneurs perform to become successful in their ventures with support of microfinancing. Based on interviews 34 from five regions Bangladesh, this study sought identify significant categories start-up companies related development entrepreneurship among rural women borrowers through Specifically, examined obstacles faced by females Bangladesh and explored how they overcame those barriers became entrepreneurs. A grounded theory approach was used categorize critical obstructions facilitating factors, role congruity helped inform nature emerging categories.
